The attacker alledgedly attempted to remove the equipment while in use during his set.

Just a few days ago Grammy award winning producer and DJ Nic Fanciulli packed a Club and delivered a weekend full of amazing performances.
Unfortunately, in a strange and rare set of events an out-of-control club attendee allegedly started some sort of strange conflict with Nic during one of his sets.
The crazed club goer got up in Fanciulli's face in the middle of his DJ set and started grabbing at the his equipment, From the video, it appears as if the clubber is attempting to pull pieces of the equipment off of the stage.
He was successful in removing the mixer, which he took with him off of the stage as other attendees jumped in and went after the attacker, grabbing him and trying to remove him from the altercation.
Security was all but non-existent, and the other patrons stepped up and tried to toss the asshat out of the club, some of them physically striking him. Security finally showed up when the lights went on and they were then able to get a hold of the guy and Threw his dumb ass out! Retrieving the DJ equipment from him in the process.
The attackers motives are still unclear and the incident is under investigation.
Fanciulli was not harmed during the incident and the club remained open.
